I really liked the look of the unit and the functions that it offerred, and after seeing only 5-star reviews, I decided to purchase it. I wanted a good CD player, usb drive player, radio and it to function as an alarm clock. It provides an alarm, slowly increasing the volume of whatever you decide to wake up to, but no snooze. However, it does not provide a clock for very long. 15 mins after turning the unit to normal standby mode, the unit will enter Eco standby mode saving 1 watt, and the clock will no longer display. Therefore, I cannot see what time it is when looking at the unit. Also, when the clock is on (for the 15 mins), you have to look at the display straight on to actually read the display. I don’t understand why Philips designed it this way. I may now return it because one of the basic features that I desired (a clock) is not up to my standards.

Otherwise the unit provides decent sound, pulls in FM stations pretty well, and has a lot of features. The remote works well, but the layout could be a little better.

ths sound quality is sufficient. it can be loud enough for my enjoyment. what i really like the most is that you can get your music from many ways. it has radio, it plays cds, plays mp3s from a burnt cd, mp3s from a usb drive and you can dock and play mp3s from your ipod. I think you can also link other players using the earphone jack adapter that was included in the box. I also like the design and how compact the player is. I also like what I paid for it too. over all this product is a great deal.

Frankly speaking, I didn't have much expectations on this prodcut interms of the sound quality, since its just 5W, but I was really surprised to see the sound it generates! Awesome sound quality - Too good for your bedroom. Obviously, you cannot compare it with a hometheatre system but for a iPod/iPhone dock, its way at the top. The FM radio, CD, AUX and USB ports are a big advantage and I was very pleased that it supports iPhone 3G and 3GS as well. When I got this piece, there were no reviews at all, but still I wanted to buy it for its stylish looks. Frankly speaking, I didn’t have much expectations on this prodcut interms of the sound quality, since its just 5W, but I was really surprised to see the sound it generates! Awesome sound quality – Too good for your bedroom. Obviously, you cannot compare it with a hometheatre system but for a iPod/iPhone dock, its way at the top. The FM radio, CD, AUX and USB ports are a big advantage and I was very pleased that it supports iPhone 3G and 3GS as well. I totally liked it and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I wanted to get a stylish case for my 4th Generation iPod Touch, but one that would protect it sufficiently from drops and scrapes.
Its made of hard plastic and rubber, and each surface is incorporated effectively into the design.
Once installed, this case looks “hi-tech” and fits very snug on all corners. The only flaw is the small rubber strip that runs across the bottom edge near the charger plug that probably could have been omited. Or conversely, made this section using the hard plastic. Its a minor annoyance that I am willing to overlook due to the good price.
Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and recommend this protective case to my fellow Amazonians.

This case looks atually very nice, however, it snaps into the ipod and if you have a screen protector it will peel it off at the corners rendering it usless. I bought a high quality screen protector and this cheap case screwed it. Thankfully I got 3 other so I can replace the brand new I had installed.

If you do not use screen protectors then it looks really good, no question about it, but stay away if you want to protect your screen.

I was bit hesitant to order this cover since it only had one review but I admit it was great buy. It’s the perfect mix of hard and soft rubber with clear back. It’s stylish and looks great. It fits very well on the Ipod touch 4th gen with access ports for headphones, charging/upload jack and camera. The power and volume buttons are covered but are “raised” and allows for easy use. The material is not a lint magnet like some silicone covers and I carry it in my pocket frequently. I would highly recommend this product.

I use the iTouch to watch downloaded movies, saving my phone's battery life. I also use the notes function in the iTouch to record weights sessions in at the gym, so I don't have to carry my phone around the sweaty gym. And when I'm overseas I love being able to hook in to free WiFi places on the iTouch and email back home for free, without having to get roaming on my phone. No iPhone, but still a great gadget, November 8, 2010

The iTouch has been hugely outdated by the iPhone, but I find I still use mine a bit for things I don’t necessarily want to use my iPhone for. I use the iTouch to watch downloaded movies, saving my phone’s battery life. I also use the notes function in the iTouch to record weights sessions in at the gym, so I don’t have to carry my phone around the sweaty gym.
